Looking at map and from right to left many villages/towns can be seen ie, Dorchester,Bradford Peverall,
Portesham,Compton Valence,Cattistock,Beaminster,Burton Bradstock,Wraxall,Askerwell,Whitchurch Canonicorum,Axminster,Chard,Corscombe,Dalwood,Membury,Yarcombe,Upottery,Dunkeswell,Cotleigh,Honiton,
Colyton,Woodbury and on to Exeter, but by far the largest concentration of "Boyland Families" could be found in STOCKLAND,with Branscombe a close second.
To the present time,I have not found links between these two villages, but not to say that there is not one?
During the past two years I have arranged for a BOYLAND get together in Stockland, and on both
occasions the turnout was excellent and a great time was had by all,I think we averaged about twenty
people sitting down for our evening meal. There was a lot of talk and exchange of family information.
Photographs were taken and I hope to reproduce some of them on these pages, once I have permission to
do so by those involved,so keep watching and you never know when you will see yourself on the net.

At this point I would like to mention Derek and Pam Boyland who have been staunch supporters of my efforts in researching the "Boyland's"of Stockland,Derek is always so busy looking after his dairy herd but still has a great interest in what is what and who is who in this vast family which seems to grow and grow. The name "Boyland" can be found almost everywhere it would seem. Barnpark Farm has been the venue for two meetings of the clan and I know I speak for all who attended these gatherings, when I say we are extremely grateful for your continuing support. Apart from the very busy farm to be run,Pam looks after the B&B side of the business,so anyone looking for good food and genial hosts, and a very comfortable room for the night, look no further, contact Derek or Pam at Barnpark Farm,(Its on the net)
Its not often you see two good looking boy's in the same photo.
