Here we are in 2007,and just recently I was sent a collection of Newspaper clips,by Mervyn Tims, whose ancestors were the CHICK family from Beer, and Axminster in Devon/Dorset.The cuttings were discovered pasted into a recipe book belonging to a relative of his and judging by the content of these cuttings,I am convinced that there must be a positive link between our families.Already on my tree I have a John Boyland married to Ann Chick, and her parents were Joseph and Elizabeth Chick of ALLOWENSAY,KINGSTONE,SOMERSET.
I have identified a number of the people mentioned in these cuttings because they were already on my tree, however,if visitors to these pages think they may be able to establish further links, then please make contact through my guest book.
